With the Commonwealth Games 2022 officially open and underway, Colleges Scotland is today (Friday, 29 July 2022) in Birmingham, not only cheering on the athletes but representing the Scottish college sector at a key educational event.

The UK Government invited Colleges Scotland to attend UK House for the Education Sector Day as part of the Games. The event is focused on education as a priority and a series of workshops and seminars providing insight into the UK’s global, national, regional, and local organisations that play their key part in developing the next generation of workforce and business entrepreneurs.

There are sessions on global skills opportunities, EdTech, and collaboration, and Colleges Scotland will be meeting with policy makers, education providers, business and students, to promote Scotland’s colleges and foster mutually beneficial opportunities for collaboration and partnership.

Colleges Scotland wishes all the Scottish athletes the very best of luck at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
