Comment on Adult Learning Strategy Launch
Shona Struthers, Chief Executive of College Scotland, has welcomed the launch of the Scottish Government’s Adult Learning Strategy.
She said: “This strategy puts colleges at the very heart of delivering fair and inclusive lifelong learning opportunities for adults.
“Scotland’s colleges look forward to supporting the ambitions laid out within the strategy through enhanced collaborations with our Community Learning and Development partners to ensure the provision of individual learner pathways to help adults develop the right knowledge and skills, leading to positive and sustainable outcomes regardless of social and economic backgrounds.
“Colleges providing this equality of learning opportunities will ensure every student is given the chance to achieve their full potential.”
