The College Lecturer Registration Programme is being taken forward in response to the national agreement to register all lecturers working in Scotland’s colleges through GTC Scotland.

Following the agreement, GTC Scotland, EIS FELA and Colleges Scotland have been working with sector stakeholders to investigate requirements and establish pathways for mandatory registration of college lecturers with GTC Scotland.

A registration pilot project is being carried out with three colleges. The work undertaken in the pilot will help ensure that GTC Scotland’s systems and processes are optimised for the roll out of registration across the sector.

The three colleges taking part in the initial pilot are Dundee and Angus College, Forth Valley College and Glasgow Kelvin College.
