Commenting on NUS Scotland's 2026 Student Manifesto launched today (Thursday 26 February 2026), a spokesperson for Colleges Scotland said:

“Students are at the heart of everything colleges do. Colleges Scotland welcomes the NUS Scotland call to invest in colleges and to afford them the same respect and esteem as universities, and backs the appeal to make financial support available to further education students on a similar basis to those in higher education.

“Colleges Scotland also recognises the importance of the NUS Scotland call to ensure colleges and universities are adequately funded to deliver mental health support.”
